Sayint

Sayint is in the Amhara state, over 500km north of Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa. There are 31 villages in the area, and this project aims to help the 10 most vulnerable, where there is little access to clean water. Women and young girls from these villages travel vast distances on foot every day to fetch the water their families need.
